Hey guys,
If you haven't seen it this is a video from fanfest before Uprising was released. It gives you a good picture of how the game is going to progress. Worth a watch.

Ya, I think you will see a lot of peaks and valleys over the next few months/year.
There is so much content labelled "near future" which means they have it made... just waiting for stability to implement it.
Night and environment levels will be awesome too. |

I mean, if you can't make a bicycle work, the logic really isn't usually to start building aircraft carriers.
I admire the vision-sounding-talk-thing, but it approaches ADD and complexity for complexity's sake.
Just for my education, since I know little of nothing of EvE:
1. Would you have had to be "into EvE" for most of the past 10 years of development (essentially getting in on the ground floor) in order to play a significant role in it today?
2. Does the grafting of Dust to the EvE universe and the subsequent idea of planetary conquest suggest the possibility of relegating the Dust player (the individual grunt) to some subservient role to those more interested in their (ahem) middle-management skills?
3. Are we really going to have to wait 18 or more months to see significant improvements in roles that aren't derived from twitch-shooters?
1 - yes and no. You can be useful in a day 1 ship in eve, but chances of dien are huge. You need to join a corp to have good fun.
2- game depth will come with time. Eve took a few years to truly develop. Dont really know whats going to happen with dust. Integrating with faction warfare... they have pilot ranks in eve , im sure getting rewards and status with a faction is coming to dust.
3 - set passive skills and go play GTA 5 LOL.
I dont even think CCP knows when the game is going to settle. I think once ccp floods each race with all the weapon types and adds in different planets the game will change huge.
